How we work

Our newsroom pairs AI research and drafting tools with human editors. Software monitors public sources — city press releases, county announcements, National Weather Service alerts, council agendas — around the clock, assembles research from primary sources, and drafts stories. Every story is then reviewed, fact-checked, and approved by a human editor before it is published. Nothing goes live without a person signing off.
